This website is designed to work without an account. Questions typed into either the Xiao Liu Ren quick reading or Liu Yao deep reading are processed in your browser and are not sent to a database by the calculators.
Question Text
The calculators do not need to transmit or permanently store the question you enter. Shared-result links contain calculated reading data and the selected category, not the text of your private question.
Local Browser Processing
The Xiao Liu Ren time calculation uses your browser's date, time and Chinese-calendar formatting support. The Liu Yao page generates or accepts a six-line coin cast and performs its chart calculations with JavaScript on the device running the page.
Server Logs
When this website is hosted publicly, the hosting provider may keep ordinary technical server logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and access time for security and operations. Those logs are controlled by the hosting environment rather than by the calculator itself.
Analytics and Advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use Ask Six Ren, including page views, general engagement, device/browser information and traffic sources. Custom analytics events may include the selected reading category, calculation/cast mode and calculated result metadata such as Six Ren states or Liu Yao hexagram numbers, but we do not send the question text you type to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers depending on its configuration and the visitor's consent settings. Ask Six Ren does not currently use Google AdSense. If advertising is added later, this policy will be updated before those services are enabled.
External Sharing
If you use your device's Share feature, the information is handled by the application or service you choose. The generated share text does not automatically include your typed question.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated if the site's features or data practices change.
