Traditional Method and Modern Interpretation

The Xiao Liu Ren calculator follows a commonly described lunar month → lunar day → Chinese hour six-state counting method. The Liu Yao calculator uses six three-coin lines and a rule-based Na Jia chart including primary/transformed hexagrams, Eight Palace placement, Na Jia branches, Six Relatives, Self/Response, Six Spirits and calendar relationships.
